What to know about PDFs
Before you uploadText PDFs are the fast path
A PDF exported from Word, Google Docs, or LaTeX carries its text inside the file. QuizForge extracts it directly, so nothing gets lost on the way to your questions.

Scanned PDFs work too
A scanned page is a picture of text. QuizForge handles scanned pages with image text extraction, reading the words off the page image. Sharp, well-lit scans give the best results.

The 20MB limit
Uploads cap at 20MB. Text PDFs sit far under that. If a scanned book pushes past the limit, split it by chapter and quiz each chapter on its own. Focused quizzes are better for studying anyway.

You choose the question count, from 5 to 50 or more. For a 200-page PDF, one quiz spreads thin. Generate several shorter quizzes instead — one per section — and rotate through them.

Can I make a quiz from a scanned PDF?
Yes. QuizForge handles scanned pages through image text extraction, so a photocopied chapter or a scanned exam paper works as source material. You do not need to run OCR software first — upload the PDF as it is.
