Using it in a course
The usual pattern is one quiz per lecture: generate it from that week’s deck, review the questions, and assign it to your class as a low-stakes check with a due date. Students join your class with a code, and the class view shows the average, submissions and the questions most students missed, which tells you what to revisit at the start of the next session.
For exam review, generate a longer quiz from several readings at advanced difficulty and share it as a link. Students can take it without an account, and each wrong answer shows the explanation, so the review is also a study session. The research behind this is solid: practice testing is one of the most reliable ways to improve long-term retention (Roediger & Karpicke, 2006).

Common questions
Professor editionCan it write essay or short-answer questions?
No. QuizForge writes multiple-choice (four options) and true/false questions. For open-ended assessment you will still write your own prompts.
How does it handle a very long document?
It selects the passages most central to the subject from across the whole file, or most relevant to your topic focus if you set one, and writes the quiz from those. For a whole textbook, one quiz per chapter still gives better coverage.
Can I trust the answer keys?
Each one is checked against your material, and contradicted or ambiguous questions are removed. That catches most errors, but it is not a guarantee, so review the quiz before assigning it for credit.
Does it replace our LMS?
