Flashcards on Quizlet. Quizzes on QuizForge.
Disclosure first: QuizForge is our product. Quizlet is the established flashcard platform, with millions of study sets and study modes built for memorising terms. It has also added AI practice tests: upload notes, slides or readings and get multiple-choice or written questions. So both tools can quiz you on your own material. The difference is who each is built for. Quizlet’s practice tests are made for a student studying alone. QuizForge is built for quizzes a teacher assigns to a class and grades, and for students who want their questions checked against the source before they learn from them.

When Quizlet is the better choice
When the job is memorising pairs: vocabulary, anatomy terms, dates, formulas. Flashcards are Quizlet’s native format, its study modes are built for exactly that, and there is probably already a set for your course. QuizForge does not make flashcards.
And when you want written-answer practice. Quizlet’s practice tests can ask you to type an answer, which tests recall harder than choosing from options. QuizForge only writes multiple-choice and true/false questions.
When QuizForge is the better choice
When a teacher is setting the quiz. QuizForge is built around classes: students join with a code, you assign quizzes with due dates and weights, and the gradebook and per-question analytics show what the class missed. You can also share a quiz by link with no account needed to take it.
When the material is long, or the answers have to be right. QuizForge picks the relevant passages from across the whole document, and checks each answer key against your source, dropping any question the material contradicts or where two options could be correct. For a student, that means you are not drilling a wrong answer the night before the exam. See how students use it on the students page.
