Quizzes from the whole document, not the first pages.
Disclosure first: QuizForge is our product. Quizizz, renamed Wayground, is a strong platform: a huge library of teacher-made quizzes, live and homework modes, and an AI generator that turns an uploaded file into a quiz. Its help center says that generator processes only the first 16,000 characters of a file, about 2,500 words, a few pages of a dense reading. QuizForge picks the relevant passages from across the whole document instead, and checks each answer key against your material before you see the quiz. If your material is short or standard curriculum, Wayground may serve you better. If it is long and your own, read on.

When Wayground is the better choice
When someone has already written your quiz. For mainstream topics, such as state-standards maths, introductory biology or a commonly taught novel, Wayground’s library probably has a quiz you can use or adapt in minutes, with no upload at all. You will want to vet it, since community quality varies.
And when you want one tool for both live sessions and homework, with game-style motivation built in. QuizForge has no live mode and no gamification beyond a leaderboard.
When QuizForge is the better choice
When the material is long. A 40-page reading runs several times past 16,000 characters, and a text-heavy lecture deck often does too, so a generator that reads only the start writes the whole quiz from the introduction. QuizForge judges which passages are central to the subject, spreads its selection across the document, and can narrow to a topic focus you set.
And when you need to trust the answer key. Each generated question is checked against your material; a question your source contradicts is dropped, and so is one where a second option is also correct. Every question comes with an explanation, so a wrong answer still teaches something.
Common questions
QuizForge vs WaygroundIs Quizizz the same as Wayground?
Yes. Quizizz renamed itself Wayground in June 2025; the product and its library carried over.
Can I split a long file for Wayground instead?
Yes, splitting a document into sections under the limit works. It is extra work per quiz, and each quiz only sees its own section.
Does QuizForge have a question library?
No. Every quiz is generated from material you provide, which is the point, but it means there is nothing to browse.
Is there a longer comparison?
Yes, covering Kahoot, Wayground, Quizlet and Google Forms: best AI quiz generators for teachers.
Your longest reading, quizzed.
Upload the document that is too long for other generators and see what comes back. Free plan: 2 quizzes a month, no credit card.
